Q.Are Garco steel buildings different from conventional steel framing?
A.Yes, steel building systems typically rely on design efficiency and the efficient use of steel while conventional steel framing relies on mass, often placing steel in places where it is not needed.

Q.Are Garco steel building systems pre-engineered packages?
A.No, our steel building systems are as flexible in their design as a conventionally framed steel building. In fact, our steel building systems frames often achieve bigger spans than most any other method of framing.

Q.Do architects need to be specially trained to use steel building systems?
A.No. In fact, our systems are easier to work with than conventional framing. All the architect has to provide us with is a schematic drawing; we do the rest. The architect may use any type of interior and exterior finishes that he or she may choose.

Q.Why are metal buildings so ugly?
A.Any building can look "ugly". It depends upon the eye of the beholder and how the building is to be used. Metal building systems emerged from the agricultural buildings market where economy, utility and functionality ruled design.
