By using structural and roof systems designed by Garco Building Systems, the customer can enjoy the short lead times that are common with Garco and reduce construction financing costs and begin operating out of the facility sooner than conventional building methods will allow.

• Security
  Because of the growing importance of security, both commercial and industrial clients choose Garco for our ability to easily integrate a variety of concrete and masonry wall designs into our steel structural and roof systems. These include not only tilt-up concrete panels of different heights, but also cast in place concrete, concrete masonry unites and brick.

• Long Life
  When serviceability is a major design consideration, the addition of concrete or masonry walls, either full eave height or partial height, is the answer. This allows combining the best of both designs: the excellent value and weather tightness of a Garco steel building with the impact resistance of concrete.

• Flexibility
  Garco will work as a team member with the wall designer and Garco builder to insure complete understanding and coordination of design between Garco's structural steel and the concrete or masonry wall system of choice. The Garco system economically provides wide, clear spans that easily accommodate changing floor plans and future expansion and the structure can be designed to accommodate curtain or load-bearing wall requirements. Typically, wall-to-steel structural connections are field-welded to panel imbeds. However, bolted connections can be detailed, if needed.

• Weather tightness
  Because a Garco structural system is designed to accommodate our GML standing seam roof, the customer is assured of a long-lasting weather tight building for years to come. Or, Garco can supply a conventional finished steel panel roof or optional steel decking in preparation for installation of a single membrane roof system of your choice.
