"Overall design and choice of materials are well executed and reflective of region. Nice detailing and consistency of design down to the light fixtures. Roof tile makes a stylish statement and roof breaks and shape help with scale of mass. Column fenestration is appealing and covered entry provides relief and shadow to create additional interest."

"Good use of materials for a forested setting. Interplay of masonry and brick is elegantly stated and rock work is well placed for definition at entry. Steeply pitched roof adds additional interest. Overall design and choice of materials suggest substance and permanence, in keeping with image the occupant wishes to project."
